Department of Marine Sciences of the University of Gothenburg together with the Bioinformatics group. “Analysis of de novo sequenced data from Debaryomyces strains”. Tutor: Anders Blomberg. Bioinformatic supervisors: Tomas Larsson and Magnus Alm Rosenblad. Analysis of the genomic sequences of 19 strains, from raw reads to the assemblies. Alignment, species identification, contamination check, variant calling, annotation and phylogenic study of the populations.

Techniques: maintenance of the animals, immunohistochemistry, tissue dissection, use of Confocal Microscopy and computerized data analysis.
